(Art Brownie Trailer) Buddha for balance
Surprised but delighted to receive a Buddha greeting card not long ago. It was a wood block print. Han Xu, the Chinese artist has favoured using the buddha icon for his art though he is not particularly religious. Perhaps it is the tranquility he is seeking. The state of a calm mind through the chaos and uncertainty in life he's experiencing then and now. Wood is his preferred medium. Here Buddha printed from a wood cut, and Buddha printed on a wood cube.
